PORT HURON — A day after a larger disruption to its technology systems, McLaren Port Huron, the region's biggest hospital, have reportedly ceased diverting ambulances as of this morning, according to a spokesman for the facility.

The hospital and health system had initially confirmed it was temporarily mid-diversion on Monday hours after other service providers were notified of the issue. However, hospital officials remain mum about the the status of the larger tech concerns as some patients reported canceled and rescheduled appointments.

As of Monday afternoon, the hospital shared in a statement: "McLaren Health Care is experiencing a disruption to our information technology platforms and telephone systems. We are working to determine the extent of the disruption and do not have a timeframe to restore functionality."

Also, on Monday, no timeline for mitigating the larger system concerns had been announced, and when reached by the Times Herald on Tuesday, a hospital spokesperson did not directly address questions about the status, nature, or cause of the reported tech disruption.

As on Monday, the main McLaren website still appeared to be down on Tuesday.

    More information wasn't immediately avialable.
