A Bradford County man was arrested after he allegedly got into a fight with staff at a Huston Township strip club then resisted and kicked state troopers who responded to the scene.

Staff at The End Zone Show/Sports Club, 100 Lion Lane, Port Matilda, told state police at Rockview that at about 10 p.m. on Saturday, Richard G. Jones, 27, and his friend were intoxicated and became agitated when they were denied access to the VIP area because they had not paid for it, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Jones and the other man, who has not been charged as of this writing, shoved and punched two staff members, police wrote. A computer, cash register and phone were damaged when they were knocked off a desk during the scuffle.

After state troopers responded to a 911 call, Jones argued with them and resisted when two attempted to put him in handcuffs, according to the affidavit. He kicked the two troopers in the legs, got his hands free and continued to attempt to kick them, police wrote.

One of the troopers took him to the ground to be handcuffed and Jones allegedly continued to resist. The trooper sustained a laceration to his hand and "scuff marks" to his arm and knee while trying to subdue Jones, according to the affidavit.

Jones continued to disobey commands and a trooper stunned him with a Taser twice, police wrote, after which Jones became compliant and was placed in handcuffs.

He is charged with a felony count of aggravated assault - attempting to cause serious bodily injury to a designated individual, misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and criminal mischief and summary counts of disorderly conduct and harassment.

Jones was arraigned on Sunday by District Judge Don Hahn, who set bail at $35,000. He posted bond on Tuesday.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 24.
