Seadrift council moves forward on wastewater treatment plant
SEADRIFT – The Seadrift City Council approved a stopgap measure that will allow the city to seek funding to complete the wastewater treatment plant during a special-called meeting Monday, July 15. Mayor Jesse Hubbell said there was $1.8 million that was intended to build a new wastewater treatment plant.
TDECU gets ready to break ground on new location in Port Lavaca
TDECU is set to break ground on a new location in Port Lavaca on Tuesday at 10 a.m. on 119 SH-35. The new location will feature a 2,533-square-foot financial center, two drive-thru lanes, and drive-up and walk-up ATMs designed to provide enhanced financial services to the community. This will be a large upgrade to the current location which is located in a single-wide manufactured building. TDECU executives, including SVP Gulf Market President Josh Brian, will join members of the executive council, area retail managers, and local business leaders to celebrate the ground breaking event, according to a news release from TDECU.

(KTEN) - The software outage that caused thousands of flights to be canceled and delayed continues to leave people stranded.
