Seattle families with young children have a new reason to look forward to the summer, with the introduction of SUN Bucks, a program providing $120 in grocery benefits per eligible child, which can be used at participating stores and farmers markets. This financial boost for groceries comes in addition to free nutritious meals offered to children and youth at over 60 locations throughout the city, a service managed by Seattle Human Services Department's Summer Food Service Program.
