9 murals make Port Washington an art destination this summer

Two election observers were removed from polling locations in a Milwaukee suburb Tuesday after reports that they were being disruptive. Representing the Newest Military Service Branch
The American Legion Germantown Post #1 received a $5,000 Washington County Tourism grant, in order to prepare and install a flagpole representing the newest military service branch, the U.S. Space Force. It will be located at the Military Services Memorial in Germantown, at the corner of Park Avenue and Freistadt Road. The concept for the memorial was developed by Ken Puls, Jim Heimann and a third Vietnam veteran, Mel Ewert, who is deceased.
