Emma Bogacki, her 43-year-old father, Nathan, and 13-year-old brother Grant died at the scene. Her 11-year-old sister was hurt in the crash and flown to UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh hospital listed in critical condition, according to state police.

Troopers reported the crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Route 65 southbound in Slippery Rock Township when the family's SUV driven by Nathan Bogacki crossed the center line and went off the road, shearing a telephone pole and hitting a parked car before becoming airborne and hitting a tree. The incident remains under investigation.
