The No. 1 seed Texas Longhorns and the No. 3 seed NC State Wolfpack are facing off in an Elite Eight matchup in Portland this afternoon.

Instead of focusing on the talent of these two women's basketball programs, the early attention in this game has been stolen by an embarrassing mistake on the playing surface.

The floor at Portland's Moda Center features uneven three-point lines on both ends of the court. Both teams are aware of the mistake and are moving forward with the contest anyway, per NC State reporter Ethan McDowell.

Understandably, college basketball fans are furious about this unfathomable blunder.

"They messed up painting the 3point line on one side of the court in this game. NCAAW Rigged," PFT Commenter wrote.

"What's happening in Portland right now with the court and the three point line is so embarrassing," another said.

"I'm sorry, the three-point line in Portland is messed up???? The distance to the top of the key is different on each side of the floor????" Nicole Auerbach added.

"WTF, the court isn't the same at each end of the floor in Portland. Woof, terrible look for the NCAA as they try to grow the game. Got to be better. They worry about all the wrong things, like cups on the court and cell phone videos. Good lord," another wrote.

Baylor and USC played on the same court on Saturday night. The three-point lines were clearly messed up for that contest as well.

This is a critical error and an embarrassment for all those involved, especially considering the magnitude of this year's women's tournament.
