    24 arrested in retail theft sting, over $3K in stolen merchandise recovered

    PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – Twenty-four people were arrested in the most recent retail theft sting led by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.

    Deputies targeted the Clackamas Promenade on SE Sunnyside Road, where shops like Kohl’s, Old Navy, and Target worked with loss prevention teams for a total of 10 hours.

    Officials recovered more than $3,300 worth of stolen merchandise.

    “During the mission, several people were identified as committing theft with other suspects, including one suspect working with two other females while pushing a baby in a stroller,” deputies said.

    Further details of the retail thefts were not immediately available.
