Easton City Council recently approved a licensing agreement with the developers of The Marquis apartment complex, in which a construction camera was installed on the roof of 123 S. 3rd St. The TrueLook camera is accessible through the City Center Allentown website, and anyone with a mobile device can view the camera.

ALLENTOWN | Road restrictions are expected to start Monday for a $7.4 million project to improve Route 145/South Fourth Street in the city, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced. PennDOT said in a news release Route 145/South Fourth Street will be improved between Wyoming Street and 400 feet south of Emmaus Avenue. “Motorists should expect nighttime lane restrictions … and allow for extra time traveling through the area,” the release said. The work includes adding a center turn lane between Brookdale/South Fifth Street and Wyoming Street, adding a right turn lane from northbound South Fourth Street onto West Emmaus Avenue, adding a left turn lane from West Susquehanna Street onto southbound South Fourth Street and other improvements, the release said. The project is expected to be complete in October 2026.
