Washington D.C. Man Sentenced to 40 Months for Strangulation and Attempted Kidnapping in Columbia Heights
A 19-year-old Washington, D.C. resident, Jamari Jackson, has been sentenced to a 40-month incarceration for charges of felony strangulation and the attempted kidnapping of a female victim. In a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office, U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and MPD Chief Pamela Smith confirmed the sentencing details. Jackson will also face three years of supervised release post-prison as ordered by Superior Court Judge Lynn Leibovitz, as reported by the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Columbia.
