July 11-13: Potsdam Summer Festival

The Potsdam Summer Festival will be Thursday, July 11 through Saturday, July 13 with numerous events scheduled.

There live performances by more than 40 local bands and artists spanning a variety of genres. from rock to jazz, blues to folk on the main stage.

A marketplace will be there and feature over 90 vendors offering handmade crafts and locally sourced products from the North Country’s finest artisans. Other vendors will have unique jewelry and artwork to delicious gourmet treats.

Friday will have the Fall Island Fiesta Children’s Event, offering a day of interactive fun for families with more than 10 engaging activities. Activities include locomotive train rides, a reptile show, touch a truck, library story time, engaging museum activities, rock painting, and more.

Saturday has over 15 activities like laser tag, community performances, pickleball, an antique and classic car show and a food truck rodeo. The evening wraps up with a Fireman’s parade and Run to the River followed by a grand finale fireworks display.

There will also be after-hours events, including live music performances and special late-night activities including a Pub Crawl, Beer, Wine & Cider Tent party and more.
