David Svenson is a Ridgway, Colo. local and likes to "play" a lot.

In a past life he was a builder on the Front Range (Castle Rock), and life panned out well enough for him to buy a 100-acre ranch in Ridgway and retire to said play.

He seems to get out a lot more than I do, which I guess is okay.

But he's a great conversationalist on the lift and is willing to ski nearly everything.

    Favorite place for grab-and-go breakfast:

    Clarks Market.

    Best lunch spot:

Floradora! Sit at the bar and order fresh cut french fries and a pint. (Definitely agree on that one.)

Best non-skiing day activity or diversion:

    Snowshoeing on Lizard Head Pass.

    Best evening hangout:

An appetizer tour is our favorite way to eat in Telluride. Share an app at Cosmo, 221 S Oak, The National, and finish at the Sheridan with a whiskey.

Best thing about Telluride that visitors might not know:

    There's never a lift line!

    Favorite run at Telluride:

On a powder day, anything off Chair 14—Little Rose, Dynamo, Millions, etc.

A little video I shot yesterday from the Village Express, Telluride (the snow is off the hook right now):
