Level Two evacuation ordered for area north of Oakridge due to fire
OAKRIDGE, Ore. – Officials have increased the urgency of an earlier evacuation notice as firefighters work to contain the High Prairie Fire north of Oakridge. The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said the area of east High Prairie Road near milepost 5, including Dead Mountain, Mountain View, Huckleberry and High Prairie Loop, are under a Level Two (Be Set) evacuation notice.
