Double Ponds Water Association robbed

The Double Ponds Water Association office on Columbia Avenue was robbed last week.

The perpetrator broke in the front door at approximately 3 a.m. on May 2 and took money from the cash register and the safe. He also ransacked the office.

“The guy made several mistakes,” said Prentiss Police Chief Richard Browning. “Because of those mistakes, I am extremely confident the person or persons will be prosecuted and put in prison.”
