The Michigan Walleye Tour Made Its Fourth Stop in Alpena
The Michigan Walley Tour made its fourth stop this competition in Alpena, “101 teams come to Alpena. You might have seen the boats. They started pre-fishing a week ago. It was a great event. The weather held out. We just have to really thank all the community members,” Ambassador of the Thunder Bay Walleye Club Romeo Bourdage said. Fishing is a big economy booster for Alpena and this competition brings a lot of revenue. “This opportunity for Alpena is huge. The money that it brings in exceeds $340,000 of economic impact. Alpena, our fishing industry here, is a phenomenal thing. The one that won was actually a Saginaw Bay fisherman who brought his son, and they were able to put two good days of fishing together to do it.” Bourdage said.
