Preston flag football finishes up
The Preston High School football team annual coed flag football fundraiser directed by Cody Traveler finished up on June 29. It was three weeks long with two games a night once a week on Friday at the Preston High School field. Despite a little higher numbers this year, the second and third grade teams had to play a game or two against fourth and fifth grade teams to fill out their schedules. Golf course hosts section PGA pro-am; couples scramble on for Friday
Preston Golf and Country Club will be hosting a couples (mixed) scramble on Friday, July 5th. It will be a 6 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $50 for non-members and includes cart, green fee, entry and dessert. Members pay $10 entry plus cart. Handicap is not required.
