Lucky Peak lake levels drop for Turner Gulch ramp repairs, shortening boating season
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Water levels at Lucky Peak Lake are dropping, so that a 70-year-old boat ramp can get some needed TLC. Craig Quintana, the Public Information Officer at the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, explained that Turner Gulch boat ramp isn't safe. He said, "We didn't have much say in the matter, the Corp needs to do this project, the ramp has become a hazard. It desperately needs the repairs."

Woman run over after exiting moving vehicle in Murray 'not expected to survive'
MURRAY, Utah (KUTV) — A woman was hospitalized and is not expected to survive after exiting a moving vehicle during a police pursuit that ended in a crash, authorities said. This incident unfolded on Tuesday, July 23, when Murray Police officers witnessed a black Chevrolet truck heading southbound on State Street near 4600 South that seemed to be having issues.
