The University of Idaho has run up more than $3.9 million in University of Phoenix-related costs so far this year. The biggest bills, $1.7 million, came from U of I President C. Scott Green’s previous employer, an international law firm hired to navigate federal laws and the acquisitions process.

Voyeurism lawsuit against Coeur d'Alene surgeon to proceed
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — In addition to criminal charges of video voyeurism and sexual exploitation of a child by preparation of sexually exploitative material, Spencer Greendyke, 68, is facing a lawsuit filed by 16 anonymous plaintiffs, including former employees, as well as the spouses and children of the former employees. Greendyke’s wife and medical practice are also named in the lawsuit.

Unborn baby dies, man may be charged after Caldwell crash
An unborn baby was killed and a man is facing potential charges following a crash Monday night in Caldwell. Officers responded to the crash, at Middleton Road and Lincoln Avenue, just before 11 p.m., and found the driver and passenger of a vehicle stuck and in need of extrication, according to a Caldwell police news release. Old Rite Aid will house expansion for local retailer
A former Rite Aid location in Boise will soon be home to an expanded local retailer. D&B Supply has applied with the City of Boise to remodel its existing store on Boise Ave. at Apple St. in the Eastgate Shopping Center. In the process, crews will expand into the empty Rite Aid store.
A popular Christmas concert is returning to the Mountain America Center this year
IDAHO FALLS – Mannheim Steamroller Christmas is returning to the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls this holiday season on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas was the first event ever to go on sale prior to the venue opening to the public in 2022 and sold out in nearly it’s first week of being announced. The popularity of the show prompted Mountain America Center to add a second afternoon show that year, making it one of the most successful stops on the 2022 Mannheim Steamroller Christmas national tour.
