More Than 100 Breweries Gather in an Indiana Corn Field for an Unforgettable Beer Festival
You can enjoy sampling cold beer all while winding through an 11-acre corn maze. Corn mazes are already a popular fall activity, but add in beer, and you've just taken it to a whole other level. I always enjoy a good beer festival, it's a great way to try a bunch of beers and find what you like, without the commitment of buying a 6-pack. You can try a taster, and if you don't like it, you can move on. I'm not even a huge fan of beer, but from attending local beer festivals, I've enjoyed trying different kinds, and to my surprise, I've actually found a few beers I like!

Brantley Gilbert Celebrates New Album, ‘Tattoos,’ With A Big Nashville Party
On September 13, Brantley Gilbert will release his seventh studio album, Tattoos, via The Valory Music Co. Gilbert recently shared the album’s lead single, “Over When We’re Sober,” which is a collaboration with Ashley Cooke that is already ascending the country charts. And to celebrate the release of Tattoos, the country star is going to headline the World’s Largest Album Release Party on Broadway in downtown Nashville, which is set to take place on September 13. “All my albums, they capture a chapter of my life,” Gilbert shares. “If somebody wants to know who I am, what I’ve been through and where I stand, they can start at the beginning and listen through, and that’s why it was undeniable that Tattoos should be the title – because my tattoos do the same thing. People get ‘em for a lot of reasons, but for most of us, tattoos talk about our victories and losses, our struggles and the whole nine.” (All Country News)

The Feed: Star Soul Food Destination Opens, Beloved Bakery Pauses Business
Oya Woodruff is closing her seafood destination after eight years in business. In a post to social media, Woodruff said she would shutter her eastside walk-up restaurant The Trap (3355 N. Keystone Ave., 317-762-6172) as of August 10. She hasn’t given a reason for the shutdown, but WISH noted that Woodruff announced a new job as a high school culinary arts instructor on Tuesday. Speaking with Indianapolis Monthly in 2023, Woodruff shared that after a post-pandemic mental and physical health revamp, she began to discover “new passions and exploring what wholeness looks like for me in exciting ways,” so this change is presumably the next step on her journey.
