Free Legal Aid walk-in clinic set for Tuesday in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ind. – Legal Aid District 11 says it will hold a walk-in clinic this Tuesday, July 23, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Bartholomew County Public Library, in Columbus. The Legal Aid Clinic/Pro Bono program utilizes local volunteer attorneys, offering free legal consultations to low-income individuals for the provision of legal advice and assistance in furtherance of equal access to justice within the community who might not otherwise be able to afford the counsel of an attorney.

Johnson County, IN to Build New $2.5M Recycling Center
Construction will start soon on a new county recycling center in Franklin. The Johnson County Solid Waste Management District Board awarded a bid to Runnebohm Construction Co. last month for the construction of a new 10,000-square-foot recycling center. A bid for $2.5 million was approved, but the county council has approved a $3.2 million total bond that also includes soft costs and contingency funds.
