ORANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WAVE) - Indiana conservation officers have started investigating after a man died at Patoka Lake over the weekend. Orange County dispatch received a call on Sunday around 6 p.m. about a man who went under the water near the Painter Creek boat ramp and didn’t come back up.

Accused of trying get jury list, Brown Co. commissioner pleads guilty to drunken driving
Brown County commissioners’ president Jerry Pittman has pleaded guilty to a drunken driving charge and received a one-year suspended jail sentence. Pittman, 75, is serving the last year of his second term on the rural county’s Board of Commissioners. He lost his bid for a third term when Tim J. Clark beat him by 89 votes in the May Republican primary.
