Two Princeton residents were injured in a crash in Arthur Township on Friday, May 3.

The two-vehicle crash caused non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

At approximately 9 a.m., Edwina Lohmann, 69, of Princeton, was traveling westbound on Highway 23 near Garden Street in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. At the same time, Lloyd Neuman, 84, of Hamel, was traveling eastbound on Highway 23 in the same area, in a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, the State Patrol reported.

The Chevrolet crossed the centerline of the road where it made contact with the Jeep, according to the State Patrol.

Edwina Lohmann and John Lohmann, 72, of Princeton, who was a passenger in the Jeep, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were transported to the Welia Medical Center for treatment, according to the State Patrol. Neuman was uninjured, and all involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

No other passengers or vehicles were involved in the crash. According to the State Patrol, road conditions were dry and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office and the Ogilvie Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
