A Princeton woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Livonia Township on Thursday, May 30.

At approximately 9:15 a.m., Joni Mcnutt, 71, of Elk River, was traveling eastbound on 239th Avenue near the intersection of Highway 169 in a 2024 Honda HR-V. At the same time, Nicole Mickelson-Lasser, 34, of Princeton, was traveling southbound on Highway 169 in a 2019 GMC Terrain, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The two vehicles collided at the intersection, the State Patrol reported.

Both Mcnutt and Mickelson-Lasser sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were transported to M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton for treatment, according to the State Patrol. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

According to the State Patrol, road conditions were dry and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

North Memorial Ambulance, Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, and the Elk River Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
