Investigations into Paterson Shootings Lead to Multiple Arrests
PATERSON, NJ - Law enforcement officials have announced the arrest of three individuals as well as charges against a juvenile in connection with multiple shooting incidents in Paterson. Investigation underway after 2 shot in Paterson

Paterson Police Department Reports Significant Increase in Arrests Due to Enhanced Information Sharing
PATERSON, NJ - The Paterson Police Department (PPD) recorded 1,681 arrests during the first half of 2024, marking an increase from 1,321 in 2023 and 1,431 in 2022 during the same period, law enforc announced. The most substantial surge was observed in warrant arrests, showing a 415% increase from the previous year and a 1,330% increase compared to 2022. Arrests for second-degree distribution of heroin or cocaine rose by 136% from 2023 and 55% from 2022.
