Drive-by shooting in Prosser under investigation by Benton County Sheriff's Office
PROSSER, Wash. - Deputies with the Benton County Sheriff's Office responded to a drive-by shooting incident at a home in the Prosser area. According to a Facebook post from BCSO, the occupants of the home woke up to the sound of multiple gunshots being fired outside. A vehicle with a loud exhaust was reportedly heard leaving the area.

Electrical problem damages home, displaces family in Finley
FINLEY, Wash. – Benton County Fire District 1 responded to a manufactured home fire crews believe started from an electrical problem Sunday morning. In a Facebook post, BCFD 1 said five people in the house woke to the smell of smoke before their smoke alarm went off. When firefighters arrived, they found a small fire in a bedroom. One person was checked for smoke inhalation, but there were no further injuries.
