Halifax County investigators believe missing teen may have traveled out of state
HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office issued an update Thursday stating a teenage girl reported missing Wednesday may have traveled out of state. Deputies say investigators conducted a K-9 search for 13-year-old Mackenzie Paige Shelton and were able to trace her scent to a residence on Cherry Hill Church Road in Cluster Springs, Virginia.
