Rousseau's roundup: All-state show notes

The day has arrived!

The 2024 All-State Rhode Island High School Sports Awards is today, Thursday, at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. We had athletes come downtown last week (they crushed 12 pizzas over two days) to take headshot photos for the spring nominations, but the players of the year awards are still up for grabs.

Athletes of the year in 29 sports will be honored among several other award winners on a great way to end the 2023-24 season.
