According to police, a man and his child were searching for the child’s stolen bicycle when they saw it in front of a home. The man confronted those living in the home about the bike and a disturbance occurred. A bullet hit the minor but police said the bullet had decelerated enough to only cause minor injuries, the child was taken to the hospital by abundance out of caution and later released.

The PPD SWAT Team was brought in to help in handling a person barricaded at the home. PPD said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
