Princess Charlotte Just Pulled a Prince William at Yesterday's Outing

Princess Catherine recently made a rare public appearance for the final day of the Wimbledon championships, and she was accompanied by none other than her sister, Pippa Middleton, and her daughter, Princess Charlotte .
On July 14, the trio was spotted at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and as exciting as it was to see Kate Middleton's long-awaited return to the public eye, Charlotte, 9, was the one who caught my attention.
Why, you ask? Well, it turns out the young royal has quite a bit in common with her dad, Prince William , when it comes to watching sports and, more importantly, her expressiveness throughout. You might recall the prince's candid reactions as England's men's soccer team played in the Euro 2024 quarterfinals, where he put his face in his palms one moment and launched his fists in the air the next. And now, it's safe to say Charlotte is following suit.

The princess was laser-focused on the tennis match and showed a variety of emotions, from hope to worry to excitement. She even showed a concerned face-palm gesture—just like her dad previously did at the soccer game.

Also yesterday, during the Euro 2024 soccer finals, Prince William was closely observing the action alongside his son, Prince George , at Olympiastadion in Berlin, and I couldn't help but notice more similar reactions between him and Charlotte. For instance, when England scored their first goal, he gave the team a standing ovation (just like Charlotte did over at the Wimbledon match).

During the match, Princess Charlotte also raised her fists in excitement—much like Prince William did at the previous match against Switzerland.

As it turns out, their matching reactions indicate that they take great pride in their home team.
Body language expert Darren Stanton said on behalf of Betfair Slots, “Throughout the Euros final, Prince William was very expressive with his emotions. He felt the emotions of every other fan last night."
Stanton continued, "He displayed facial expressions of belief, excitement and pride for England. He had his hands in the air and his mouth was wide open as he cheered. He had his hands on his head and his cheeks as he felt the same frustration as the team. This just shows how connected William was to the game, but also to the England team.”
I can clearly say the same for Charlotte—and something tells me this won't be the last time I see her being this expressive.
