Blink and you may have missed her: Queen Camilla was spotted at the tail end of August enjoying lunch with members of her family in the Scottish village of Ballater. (A royal reminder—she’s spending the final days of summer and early fall at Balmoral alongside her husband, King Charles.) An off-duty queen? That’s always a fun sight to see. Still, we were captivated by Camilla’s choice to swap out her tailored coats and top-handle bags for a much more casual look: Namely, denim paired with this cropped (and fall-ready) puffer coat from Uniqlo , $80.

It’s so affordable! And stylish, especially given it’s muted and sage-like green color. Officially called the Ultra Light Down Jacket , the coat demonstrates a more down-to-earth side of Her Majesty. Can’t you just picture her wearing it for a brisk walk with Charles or for an evening stroll to peek the gardens at Highgrove?

But that’s just it: ‘Tis the season for inspecting the status of our fall coats. This particular puffer makes for the perfect transitional style that can be thrown on with sweats, but also a cute pair of jeans a la Camilla. Definitely an easy (and likely to be worn frequently) go-to that we can visualize pairing with quite a few items in our own closet.

The only caveat—it appears that the green colorway worn by the queen is no longer in stock. That said, the style comes in a plethora of colors ranging from off-white and gray to a soft pink and dark green. The price is also hard to beat and nods to one of our favorite parts about keeping tabs on royal style: The high-low mix. (Yes, the queen can pull of Dior in Paris , but she looks equally chic in an affordable down jacket. Bravo.)
