Former kids football coach accused of stealing thousands from league pleads guilty
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A former Genoa youth football coach who police say stole thousands of dollars from the league for personal use took a plea deal. Court records show Phil Antry pleaded guilty to a Theft charge, amended from a Grand Theft charge, on July 1 in Ottawa County. He could face up to 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine.

Before we start the fishing report this week, we have some sad news to bring you. In my opinion, we have lost an icon in this industry. Dave Demeter, Sr. passed away this past Tuesday. He was a great friend and teacher to myself and many others. I have been guiding for 40 years for a living, and I got my start with Dave as a first mate on his boat. He has taught me so many things over the years and has helped me grow as a captain. In his heyday, he was known to many people as Double. He knew this lake like the back of his hand. He was a topnotch guide, a friend to many, and a wealth of knowledge for anyone that had questions. He will be missed.
