256,444 Photographs from NASA’s Glenn Research Center Added to National Archives (NARA) Catalog
We’re pleased to announce that 256,444 photographs from NASA’s Glenn Research Center have recently been added to the National Archives Catalog. The photos document facilities, personnel, and aeronautic and space technology development at the Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio and at Plum Brook Station1 in Sandusky, Ohio. Also included are publicity photos, as well as images documenting various types of accidents. The photographs in this series were taken between 1943 and 2004; as such, many of the photos are credited to NASA in addition to its predecessor, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA).

Old Lyman boat being restored for Maritime Museum
SANDUSKY — Inside a barn on Wahl Road a bit west of Sandusky, an old wooden boat that connects two strands of Sandusky nautical history is being carefully restored. The Gull is a 1939 custom-built Lyman Boat Works boat, a relic of a famous boat-making company that was founded in Cleveland in 1875 but moved to Sandusky in 1929, where it remained in business until 1973 while cultivating a legendary local status.
'Stay faithful'
CASTALIA — The community honored Richard Miller, Joseph Miller and Connor Miller by sharing memories of who they were before their passing. Hundreds of community members came out to a vigil near Margaretta High School Thursday evening in support of the Miller family to memorialize Richard, 67, Joseph, 41, and Connor, 13, who died in a July 11 vehicle crash in Seneca County. Richard, a longtime Perkins Township firefighter, was Joseph's father and Connor's grandfather, while Joseph was Connor's father.
