Wickliffe man involved in two-vehicle crash in Milan Township
A 62-year-old Avon Lake man was seriously injured July 17 in a two-vehicle crash in Milan Township, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers responded at 2:54 p.m. on state Route 113 at Kelley Road in Milan Township for the crash involving a motorcycle and a truck. A 33-year-old Wickliffe man was operating a 2022 Freightliner M2 straight truck that collided with the 1965 Harley Davidson Electra Glide the Avon Lake man was driving west on Route 113, according to the release. I found this heart after work today. It was hanging on a branch at our dollar tree. I’ve heard of the quilted ❤️s but this is my 1st find. I paint rocks as a hobby, hide them in public places & watch for them to be posted on Ohio Rocks fb pages. So in return, I placed a painted rock in the area I found this doggy quilted black 🖤 Thanks for making my day a little brighter!!!

CASTALIA — The community honored Richard Miller, Joseph Miller and Connor Miller by sharing memories of who they were before their passing. Hundreds of community members came out to a vigil near Margaretta High School Thursday evening in support of the Miller family to memorialize Richard, 67, Joseph, 41, and Connor, 13, who died in a July 11 vehicle crash in Seneca County. Richard, a longtime Perkins Township firefighter, was Joseph's father and Connor's grandfather, while Joseph was Connor's father.

SANDUSKY — Thanks to the skilled hands of his knee surgeon, Raymond Kannapell will be the oldest competitor at this year’s Ironman 70.3 Ohio race. Kannapell, 74, will travel from his home in Charlottesville, Virginia, to compete in his 25th Ironman event, a feat he's only undertaken within the last decade.
