PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — A baby and a 21-year-old Hastings woman died in a Putnam County crash on the Fourth of July Thursday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol. At 11:43 p.m., FHP says an SUV driven by a 60-year-old man from New York was traveling south on State Road 19, approaching the Marion County line. At the same time, the woman and baby were traveling north on SR-19 in a van, approximately one mile north of the Marion Co. line.
