SPANAWAY, Wash — A suspect is dead after exchanging gunfire with law enforcement in Spanaway Tuesday, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department (PCSD). The incident began when the suspect fired shots at Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers who tried to pull a car over on Highway 512 around 10 a.m.
