ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – An accused meth and cocaine trafficker in Rowan County was busted Friday following a months-long investigation, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives launched an investigation in April regarding drug trafficking activity involving 47-year-old Michael Smith. Undercover agents were able to successfully make multiple purchases of meth and cocaine. Smith was arrested on Friday and faces multiple charges including trafficking meth and cocaine.

He is being held on a $1,500,000 secured bond at the Rowan County Detention Center.
