NC ‘Land of Oz’ theme park is back open for annual festival

BEECH MOUNTAIN, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Travel over the rainbow to celebrate the Land of Oz’s annual Autumn at Oz Festival in Beech Mountain.

Experience the magic of Oz at one of the three-weekend events in September.

The event dates are:

• September 6-8
• September 13-15
• September 20-22

The Autumn at Oz Festival is the largest Oz festival in the world with its combination of arts & crafts, food vendors, and Wizard of Oz memorabilia. The immersive theatrical experience takes guests through the classic story from the Kansas farm to the yellow brick road of Emerald City.

The festival hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The last shuttle bus leaves Oz at 6:30 p.m. or when the last guests exit that park

Tickets can be bought on the Land of Oz website , starting at $60. Children 2 and under go for free.
