    One person killed in overnight crash on I-77 in south Charlotte: Medic

    CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person was killed in an early morning crash in south Charlotte, according to Medic.

    Around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, one person was reported killed in a wreck on I-77 south near Tyvola Road.

    Queen City News was at the scene and saw the road re-opened around 6:15 a.m. It is unclear what led up to the crash or if anyone will be charged.
