THE son of Bronx rapper Remy Ma has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Jayson Scott, 23, and Richard Swygert, 22, were arrested on Tuesday evening in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens , New York, police confirmed to The U.S. Sun.

Scott, whose mother is Grammy -nominated rapper Remy Ma , and Swygert were arrested in connection with the June 2021 murder of 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux.
The 47-year-old died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
Scott and Swygert were each charged with first-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.
Guillebeaux had previous run-ins with law enforcement officials, serving three separate jail sentences for drugs and robbery, the Queens Attorney General’s office said at the time.
In 2020, he was among 54 others indicted in a sweeping investigation dubbed Operation Heat Wave.
Remy Ma has not commented on her son’s arrest.
REMY MA’S CRIMINAL HISTORY
The rapper , born Reminisce Kioni Smith, rose to prominence in the rap world in the early 2000s as part of Fat Joe ‘s Terror Squad group.
Remy, 44, signed with Fat Joe’s label shortly after the death of rap legend Big Pun.
She made her debut as part of Terror Squad on the group’s final album, True Story, in 2004.
Their single Lean Back topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and earned Remy her first Grammy nomination.
Remy released her solo album, There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story, in 2006.
The album included the hit singles Whuteva, Conceited, and Feels So Good.
Remy previously served six years in prison after being convicted of shooting an acquaintance outside a Manhattan nightclub in July 2007.
She was sentenced to eight years for her involvement in the shooting but only served six before being released in 2014.
Remy returned to the hip-hop scene immediately after her prison release.
The rap couple, who married while Remy was incarcerated, starred in the spin-off show Remy & Papoose: Meet the Mackies, which showed how they prepared for the birth of their first child together.
In May 2019, Remy turned herself in to police after being investigated for allegedly punching Love & Hip Hop: New York co-star Brittney Taylor in the face.
However, the charges were eventually dropped due to lack of evidence.
