OMG! The Mets are obsessed with their teammate’s hot new track.

During a Thursday night event at Citi Field, Mets players showed their love for Jose Iglesias’ new single, “OMG,” when they joined him in his live performance.

Pete Alonso, Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, J.D.Martinez, Mark Vientos and other teammates swarmed Iglesias — who musically goes by Candelita — when the chorus kicked in.

Not only is Iglesias hitting.400 with six RBIs in his debut season with the Mets, the backup infielder is also gaining recognition as an emerging artist.

It has now become a team staple.

The Mets — who are back to .500 with a 39-39 record following back-to-back wins in the Subway Series against the Yankees — have been playing it in the clubhouse after every win.

They have even introduced choreographed hand motions to sync with their teammate’s new tune, which can be seen after homers or good plays.

“We’re singing it, we’re humming it all the time,” said reliever Adam Ottavino, per The Athletic . “This one has definitely hit the most in the clubhouse.”

“OMG”, viewed by many as the anthem of the surging 2024 Mets, is set to drop Friday.

“This is all about energy. This is all about winning,” Iglesias told SNY in an interview prior to Friday’s official release. “The guys loved it and I’m very humble to make this song. The fans were clicking with it. We’re on a roll, everything is right where it needs to be, and oh my God, I’m so happy.”

Not all of Iglesias’ teammates knew of his singing abilities before the joined the squad.

Vientos only discovered Iglesias’ off-the-field talent during a workout when the veteran showed him a music video of his collaboration Cuban musician Lenier on the song “No Voy A Volver.”

That track has 1.7 million views on YouTube .

“I was like, ‘Bro, you actually sound pretty good,” Vientos said, according to MLB.com . “I was surprised. I didn’t know that.”

Iglesias — who made his MLB debut in 2011 with the Red Sox — signed a minor league contract with the Mets in December 2023.

He started the season with the Triple-A Syracuse Mets, where he hit .273 with seven homers and 29 RBIs.

The 34-year-old tallied a three-hit game in his second start on June 3 and has provided steady contributions since, registering a .905 OPS spanning his 16 games.

Iglesias is undoubtedly hoping to attain similar success away from the diamond with his new song and ascending music career.

It seems a safe bet that his new track will be played Friday night when the Mets kick off their three-game series against the Astros at Citi Field.
