FBI Director Christopher Wray has issued multiple warnings that the Biden administration’s open northern and southern borders could result in a catastrophic terrorist attack. But open border-enabled terrorism is already rampant throughout the nation.

Brutal, soulless killers have been caught and released without the slightest intervention from the White House or the Department of Homeland Security, and they’ve slaughtered unsuspecting, innocent Americans.

On or about June 16 in Houston, two Venezuelan nationals, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, were charged with 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray’s capital murder. The medical examiner determined the assailants tortured and strangled Nungaray; the results of a sexual assault exam are pending, but her body was found in a ditch without her pants. The illegal immigrants entered through El Paso.

In Queens, New York, Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, a 25-year-old Ecuadorian illegal immigrant, raped a 13-year-old at knifepoint on June 13. Both the girl and her boyfriend were held with a machete-style knife, tied up, gagged and, after the sexual assault ended, robbed. Inga-Landi videotaped the midday rape.

Prosecutors have charged Inga-Landi with predatory sexual assault, first-degree rape, two counts of second-degree kidnapping, two counts of first-degree robbery, second-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration.

In Langley Park, Maryland, Nilson Granados-Trejo, 25, a Salvadoran illegal immigrant, shot and killed a 2-year-old boy while his mother was walking him outside. The infant’s mother was injured in the shooting. Granados-Trejo was previously twice arrested on theft charges and had been ordered removed by an immigration judge in New Jersey but was repeatedly released from custody despite three immigration detainers.

The suspect has been charged with first- and second-degree murder. Montgomery County denied ICE detainer requests last year when Trejo-Granados was in custody on robbery charges.

In Coon Rapids, Minneapolis, in January, Alonzo Pierre Mingo, a Mexican national and cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine trafficker, shot two men and one woman in the head from point-blank range. Coons Rapids police found Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, 42-year-old-mother of two; her son, Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth, 20; and her husband, Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada, 39 dead at the scene.

Pierre Mingo wore his UPS uniform to pose as a worker to gain access along with his two accomplices. Mingo, who UPS confirmed was a seasonal employee, has a 2020 conviction in federal court in Minnesota for being a felon in possession of a gun and previous felony convictions in Illinois for aggravated battery as well as two weapons-related offenses.

On the University of Georgia’s Athens campus, Venezuelan national Jose Antonio Ibarra murdered nursing student Laken Hope Reilly, 22, on Feb. 22.  Ibarra, 26, entered the U.S. illegally through El Paso in 2022. The CBP arrested and then released Ibarra. He traveled to New York, where the NYPD arrested him about a year later and charged him with acting in a manner to injure a child younger than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.

Released again, Ibarra, moved to Georgia and murdered Reilly while she was jogging. Ibarra was indicted on 10 counts in all: malice murder, three counts of felony murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault with intent to rape, aggravated battery, obstructing a person making an emergency call, tampering with evidence and peeping tom charges.

In Harford County, Maryland, Sheriff Jeffery Gahler announced the arrest of Salvadoran Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez on June 15 for Rachel Morin’s killing. The mother of five was found dead near a hiking trail in August 2023.

Sheriff Gahler said: “I want to now direct these comments to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., and to every member in both chambers of Congress. It is my understanding that this suspect, this monster, fled to the U.S. after the murder of a young woman in El Salvador a month earlier in January of 2023. Once in our country, he brutally attacked a 9-year-old girl and her mother in a home invasion in March of 2023 in Los Angeles.”

Gahler concluded: “We are 1,800 miles away from the southern border, and the American citizens are not safe because of failed immigration policies. This is the second time in just two years that an innocent Harford County woman has lost her life to a criminal in our country illegally.”

In July 2022, a Salvadoran MS-13 member raped and strangled autistic resident Kayla Hamilton, 20.

The Biden administration pretends that it’s oblivious to the carnage it’s sanctioned. But in a candid conversation with his first CPB chief, Rodney Scott, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas made it clear that he was fully aware open borders would inevitability produce widespread criminality.

During his testimony before the House Committee on Homeland Security, Scott said: “Secretary Mayorkas chose to ignore these stark warnings and implemented a series of decisions that directly resulted in the massive illegal immigration and the associated crime, death and general chaos that we are experiencing today.”

Mayorkas understood then and knows today that Biden and his agenda lead to unsuspecting citizens’ murders. The blunt but incontrovertible truth: neither Biden nor Mayorkas care.

The warning Wray gave referenced a cataclysmic 9/11- type terrorist attack. With multiple millions of illegal immigrants roaming the nation unpursued by enforcement personnel, many from nations hostile to the U.S., a terrorist-spawned disaster is statistically probable. In the meantime, the Biden administration has willfully initiated a preventable crime wave on sovereign America.
