Co-Ed Brawl Erupts Between Mets & Yankees Fans At Yankee Stadium

This is a full-on fight club...and whoever videoed this clearly did not follow the first and only rule of fight club (sorry, I couldn't help myself). No matter what sports season it is, fans can always expect to see one good beatdown between opposing teams' fans. While, in my opinion, these brawls often occur during football season, this group of rowdy baseball fans is giving NFL fans a run for their money. Last night, the New York Mets took on the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. The Mets whooped up on the Yankees, winning 12 to 3, leading the Mets to a sweep during the Subways Series. This is the first time they have won the series since 2013. After the beatdown, Yankees fans were heated, and a multi-person fight broke out in the concourse. Staring with two women going at it, a man in a pinstriped jersey tried to intervene between the two females, but his attempted intervention led to a more significant outbreak of a fight. As he tried to push the two women apart, another man in a Mets jersey jumped in, pushing him, and then they started going at it. Two more men start pushing the men already fighting, creating a full-on brawl. The men slip on the wet concrete from spilled drinks as they shove and punch each other. The men then move themselves away from the two women, who are still pulling each other's hair on the ground. One fan pulls his shirt off and slugs a Mets fan, sending him to the ground. The men behind the camera cheer and encourage the behavior as the shirtless fan walks over, flexing to the crowd.
"F*** 'em up...f*** the Mets, f*** the Mets." One degenerate spectator keeps yelling. After nearly a minute of these men and women beating up on each other, security steps in and breaks up the fight. While I am sure Yankees fans were sad to lose their ongoing Subway Series streak, beating the sh*t out of the opposing team's fans is not the way to go about it.

The comments quickly filled up with disappointed supporters of both MLB teams, expressing they do not feel like this reflects their fanbase well. "It’s a sad circumstance when you see enthusiasm at an “after the game fight “ that overshadows the real game experience." "I'm a huge Yankee fan, but this is disgusting! I hope they find who they are and are banned for life. I was at the game last night...yes, we lost, but there is no reason for this." "The rivalry is ALWAYS gonna be there. However, this is NOT the team you wanna be having fights with. It's The RedSox for sure!" "Stupidity at its best." "Way to keep it classy…" "How pathetic! No class." "This is disgusting!"
"Something to be real proud of." "Looks like a great place to take your family."
