Mets first baseman Pete Alonso’s wife reposted a photo of her husband from the Mets’ account on her Instagram story Wednesday night, celebrating the team’s series victory over the Yankees. 

 “Subway series!!!,” Haley captioned the photo, followed by three broom emojis to emphasize the sweep. 



Yankee Stadium saw a full house on Wednesday, but it also saw the Mets pound their interborough rivals 12-3 and sweep their second two-game Subway Series of the season.
