    Astoria’s ‘iconic’ Neptune Diner closes its doors after decades

    ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) – Astoria’s family-owned Neptune Diner said goodbye yesterday after serving up decades of good meals and great memories.

    Loyal customers dropped by, and some even brought their families to bid a final farewell.

    The Neptune Diner still has two other locations Bayside, Queens and Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

    “It’s just an iconic old place in Astoria, just a sign of the times. … It’s sad,” one patron told PIX11 News.
