True Intelligence Has Nothing To Do With The Intellect

We’ve been lied to, as always, by ourselves

Most of us associate intelligence with the intellect. But as one heals the many distortions being held within the deepest corners of one’s being — and being on Earth, especially in this third dimension, means it’s the case for most of us — something else is revealed.

We believe that to become better at anything, we must accumulate more and more; a basic misunderstanding which we’re all accustomed to due to our evolutionary journey.

That’s why our belief in being inadequate drives us to accumulate more and more — in the form of degrees, relationships, money, houses, cars, et cetera.

As a side note: there’s a difference between improving oneself for the sake of it, due to one’s life calling — versus doing it to impress others, to seek external validation, and so on.

We’re all coming from a place of emptiness, one that we don’t want to deal with, and in our pursuit for more — we create too many conflicts with others, ourselves and life itself.

Unless we take the time to truly look at what drives us; the pain, the judgements, the suffering, the hurts and all this burden we’ve been carrying with us for too long — our actions, or better said our reactions, will be justified however absurd they are.

    And justified they are.

We’re offended for the simplest remarks as an example. We’ve repressed so much distortions that blaming others is the only way we’ve found to alleviate our pain.

As we keep living by depending on others through expectations — we attempt at people’s free will. The only reason we do this is because we’ve enslaved our own free will by seeing ourselves through the eyes of others.

The more judgmental we are about others, the more insecure we are. And the less empowered we feel to change our lives, and live according to our desires.

But the moment judgements are dropped, we’re forced to face our hurts, and that ownership over one’s life naturally discards the need for approval. Self-empowerment is allowed to blossom once again. And we become fully functional human beings.

Intelligence isn’t adding more knowledge into one’s mind. Intelligence isn’t finding more malicious ways to benefit over others.

As crazy as it may sound right now — there’s no other “poor idiot” you can profit from. The only one we hurt is always ourselves, but to see that — we have to heal all the unprocessed experiences we’ve accumulated throughout our lives.

Instead, intelligence is that instantaneous understanding about what to do, when it should be done. The intellect excludes, intelligence includes. Intelligence always promotes harmony, unity and healthy living.

And that intelligence can only be part of our lives when we release all the fears we’ve barricaded it with.

    As a final note.

If you’ve been meditating, using affirmations and thinking positively for a while now, without necessarily integrating spiritual truths at a soul level even though you understand them intellectually — I’ve written a book to help you understand the main blocks to true spiritual growth, and how to overcome them. I'm sure you're tired of "knowing" about God because you can't wait to experience God. That's what we explore in Spiritual Transition. Give the book a look here.
