ADRIAN — An Adrian man whose trial in 2023 on murder conspiracy charges ended with a hung jury pleaded guilty this past Tuesday to manslaughter and firearms charges. Lithium-ion battery believed to have caused fire in Milan home’s garage
MILAN, MI -- A charging lithium-ion battery is believed to have caused a fire in a one-story, single-family home in Milan on Tuesday, fire officials said. Firefighters were called to the home on West Miller Avenue at 3:41 p.m., July 16, according to the Milan Area Fire Department. They arrived to see heavy fire showing before calling for assistance, officials said.
