Tonight features mostly clear skies with temperatures dropping back into the mid to upper 50s. It’s a great night to give the AC a bit of a break with a cool and crisp feel expected.
Tuesday once again provides plentiful sunshine with high pressure still in control! Humidity levels will still be held in check making for a nice summer-like day with high temperatures in the mid 80s.
Wednesday brings a few scattered showers and storms back into the picture, especially in the afternoon with a cold front crossing. Similar to Sunday, though our severe weather threat overall will be low, a storm or two could provide gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall. We’ll see high temperatures jump into the upper 80s with a few low 90s in our western towns before our showers and storms work their way into the region. Shower chances will continue into the overnight hours and wane in coverage after midnight.
Thursday features the risk for a stray isolated shower in the morning with plenty of sunshine returning as we head into the afternoon with high pressure setting in. We’ll see high temperatures cooler once again with a northerly breeze kicking in with highs around 80.
Friday brings the heat back into the picture as our area of high pressure from Thursday shifts east. We’ll pick up a southerly flow, which will bring the heat and the humidity back into the region. We’re staying dry with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s.
Saturday provides the returning risk for scattered showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon, with another cold front pushing into the region. There should be plenty of dry time for the day but by the afternoon, storms will be scattered with highs temperatures in the upper 80s – a few 90s in our western towns once again is a good bet.
Sunday keeps a morning shower or two into the picture with afternoon sunshine returning with high pressure arriving. It’s a cooler day once again as high temperatures fall to near normal for this time of year near 80 degrees.
Monday will be dry and comfy with low humidity with high pressure once again in control. We’ll see high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
Looking ahead in your extended forecast, we’ll see temperatures very summer-like but not as hot as what we’ve seen recently. High pressure will shift east on Tuesday and provide an isolated shower or two with highs in the mid 80s. Wednesday brings another cold front into the region with a few scattered showers and storms with highs in the mid 80s. A few isolated showers will continue to be a threat on the 4th of July with highs in the mid 80s.
