    Midtown? More like Boomtown .

The bustling RAL neighborhood is having a moment right now, and its latest arrival is one of the biggest additions to date.

Yes, we’re talking about The Exchange Raleigh , the new 40-acre mixed-use development centered around green spaces, walkability, and community connectivity.

Here’s what you need to know about this multi-phase hotspot — and how you can offer input on its future green space growth.

    🏢 The grounds

You’ll find a bit of everything at The Exchange . When finished, it’ll include:
    • 4+ acres of green dedicated space
    • Bike and pedestrian trails
    • Pollinator gardens throughout
    • 1,200+ residential units
    • 300+ hotel rooms
    • 125,000 square feet of retail and dining
    • 990,000 gross square feet of office space
1000 Social, the futuristic flagship office tower , has already opened its doors and is currently hosting tenants. There are indoor-outdoor event spaces on the way, plus huge lawn areas primed for social events and large gatherings.

Additionally, Life Time Living recently announced a three-story luxury athletic country club, rooftop beach club, and multi-family apartment tower — all within the grounds.

    🌳 Your perfect park

The true heart of The Exchange, both literally and figuratively , is the stunning 4-acre park currently in the design phase for Phase One.

This green space will act as the communal hub for activity + relaxation, and Dewitt Carolinas, the developer behind The Exchange, is looking for input on the first section.

Put on your City Planner hat for a moment and ask yourself questions like:
    • What does your dream park look like?
    • Is there any fitness equipment or activity spaces you’d love to use outdoors?
    • Are you jelly over another city’s playground design? Layout? Greenspaces?
    • Have you long dreamt of a tranquil garden in Midtown?
Phase One is your chance to make your voice heard —
take this survey to help shape the first phase of this exciting new community space.
