Louisville (Ky.) Male offensive line lineman Isaac Sowells Jr. will announce his college commitment this Thursday at 5 pm local time.

Finalists are South Carolina, Kentucky and NC State.

After talking to sources with knowledge of the recruitment I like where the Wolfpack stand. My On3 RPM now reflects that.

Sowells is one of the most coveted center prospects in the class and is one of the top targets on Dave Doeren and his staff’s board.

What Sowells has said about NC State

NC State checks a lot of boxes.

“I’d say the coaching staff is a huge part,” Sowells recently said of what stands out about NC State. Offensive line coach Garett Tujague has been the lead recruiter.

“The stability that they offer in the program and there’s not much coaching change is truly what great programs are built on. They have done a great job recruiting great talents for their skill positions and have a great young quarerback in Cedrick Bailey. The city of Raleigh is a great place and is appealing since it’s growing rapidly. Coach Tujague has done a great job at developing the center position too by having two different All-American centers.”

    Wolfpack landing key prospects

NC State currently has 14 commits in the 2025 class including four-star receiver Jerel Bolder who they beat Georgia on, dynamic running back Kentrell Rinehart and tight end Gus Ritchey who they flipped from North Carolina.

Sowells would be the second offensive lineman to join the fold if he does commit alongside Michael Gibbs .

The On3 Industry tabs Sowells as the nation’s No. 42 interior offensive line prospect.
