OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha celebrated its 150th birthday in 2004 with a giant 1,350 sq. ft. cake and thousands lining up to grab a slice, including KETV's own Rob McCartney. The celebration started off like any other birthday party with singing "Happy Birthday," and while McCartney emceed the event, Mayor Mike Fahey and Omaha 150 chair Bruce Lawrenson took the honors of cutting the ginormous cake.
